Fig Tree Park, is a stunning property nestled on 33 acres of lush countryside, over looking the Azure sea, on the South Coast of N.S.W.
Where the Mountains meet the sea, Fig Tree Park is situated in a spectacular elevated position overlooking the panoramic view of the ocean, Barunguba (Montague Island), Gulaga and Mt Najanuka (Little Dromedary) and only 2 minutes drive to the secluded white sand beach. Far from the madding crowd yet so close to conveniences, 5 minutes drive to the historic town of Tilba Tilba and Central Tilba, 5 minutes drive to Mystery Bay, 10 minutes from Narooma and 15 minutes drive to Bermagui.
Enjoy the 360 degree views over the ocean and Barunguba (Montague Island) and the majestic foothills of Gulaga and Mt Najanuka (Little Dromedary).

Elopement, micro-weddings and weddings for up to 100 guests
Fig Tree Park is a intimate and boutique wedding venue and retreat. We welcome elopements, micro-weddings and weddings for up to 100 guests seated and 150 standing. We offer beautiful spaces for your outdoor ceremony and reception. The homestead and pavilion overlooking Najanuka, Gulaga and the ocean provides stunning wet weather options.
We offer flexibility. Fig tree Park has all the infrastructure for cocktail or seated weddings and we set this up for you. We cater for up to 35-50 guests for a 2-3 course a la carte sit down reception and for up to 100 guests with grazing plates and wood fired pizzas or shared plates. We offer BYO DIY alcohol with no corkage fees. More detail and prices and inclusions are in the wedding section.
If you are thinking of Eloping we offer you your own private venue, chef and accommodation whilst giving you the utmost privacy. Be married overlooking the ocean, under the Fig Tree, in the rose garden, on the manicured lawn. Choose where you have your celebration lunch or dinner; outdoors, in the dining room or in your private Seaside Cottage.
The Seaside Cottage, House and Garden
The romantic seaside cottage, country house and garden are beautifully designed to take full advantage of the stunning views of the the ocean. Nestled in lush green hills, surrounded by established trees, rose gardens, vine covered arbours which are lovingly protected by the landscape, the house and cottage are private and offer every comfort you need.
This perfect setting offers you and your bridal party a place to stay, get dressed in leisure, comfort and luxury whilst enjoying the garden, rural, and sea views from every window. We offer you the private and romantic seaside cottage with spectacular views of the sea, for your wedding night and you can stay longer if you wish.
For your guests
We have abundance of accommodation surrounding us for your guests to stay. There is so many varying styles of accommodation on our neighbouring properties, suiting all tastes. We offer a cottage for the groomsman, walking distance from Fig Tree Park! A stone throw away, 5 minutes drive at the most, we offer accommodation ranging from bed and breakfast, private rooms, villas, luxury suits, self-contained houses, tiny houses glamping and camping. We can connect you with accommodation for at least 120-150 guests in Central Tilba alone and Tilba Tilba as well as Narooma and Bermagui. We collaborate with the accommodation operators and they take care and look after your guests.
Your guests have the option of self-driving, (there is plenty of parking at Fig Tree Park), taxi or to make it easier you can hire a bus to pick up and drop off from the local accommodation. We can connect you with the bus company.
Accommodation for your wedding night and for longer if you wish
As part of the venue we give you your own private self-contained, romantic cottage with spectacular views of the ocean. Fully equipped so that you do not have to bring, or worry about a thing. Curl up together after the excitement of your wedding day. Sleep in or meander down to the secluded beach for an early morning walk or swim. Please see accommodation page.

About your hosts
Sarah and Mike moved from the Blue Mountains to Tilba in April 2022. They have worked hard to create Fig Tree Park into a unique and magical wedding venue and a retreat. Sarah, an artist (painter), a relationship, life and wellness coach and Mike an artisan renderer and straw bale home builder plus an amazing creative and passionate chef, together have run retreats and owned luxury accommodation for 34 yrs in the Blue Mountains. Fig Tree Park was their dream property: lush countryside overlooking the sea and close to the beach on the south coast where they could spread their wings and create together something special.
“As we stood on the front lawn of Fig Tree Park for the first time, we both felt the incredible energy and magic of the place. We stood mesmerised by its beauty as we looked out to the incredible expanse of blue sea, it felt so nourishing and nurturing, I thought people would love to get married here. Having already been doing Love Mastery Retreats in the mountains, it all made sense to create a magical wedding venue, so we could share Fig Tree Park with others. Even now almost 2yrs later, having had many weddings, we pinch ourselves every morning waking up in paradise!
We have since learned the feeling we have from the land is because the land is of unique rich geological and spiritual significance to the indigenous people of the area. Tilba Tilba, meaning many waters and Gulaga being the sacred mother mountain of creation and ancestral lines. it is a place of abundance and fertility. We thank the traditional Custodians of this land, the Yuin people and acknowledge and pay respect to the Elders, past and present and future. We endeavour to care for this land and country as it cares for us."
