For the purpose of this article, we have provided a breakdown of the prices and package inclusions provided by Queensland photographers for their starting packages only, and where possible we have determined these starting packages to be for weekend weddings during the standard wedding season.

13% of wedding photographers in Queensland offer starting packages that range between $350 to $997. Nearly 90% of these packages are above $500. Wedding packages in this range are often referred to as elopement packages or are intended for small mid-week weddings with the average inclusion being 3 hours coverage. 15% of QLD wedding photographers that publish a price online, start their package options within this range. Prices in this category start at $3,000 and go up to $3,995 with the average being $3,585. Just 17% of photographers in this range publish their full list of prices online.
Despite not publishing a complete list of packages online, 34% of the wedding photographers that state a starting price in this range also provide the included hours. The range of those hours starts at 6 and extends to 12 with most packages offering 8 hours coverage. Many photographers stated packages in this range to be 'all inclusive', and this could generally be interpreted as anything from 8 to 12 hours coverage. Albums are included in 7% of published packages in this range and customers may also find albums or photo books included by wedding photographers that offer 'all inclusive' packages who have not specified the inclusions on their website.

QLD is home to several of Australia's most renowned wedding photographers and it is likely that those photographers offer starting packages at this end of the market. Customers who are seeking the services of the best wedding photographers in the business are likely to be presented starting packages from $5,000 that include a at least 8 hours of photographic coverage. Albums designed by the industry's best wedding photographers are generally manufactured by top end producers such as Queensberry, and are sold in addition to comprehensive wedding day coverage.
