Carriageway Dungog
Set in the stunning hills of Dungog Shire, Carriageway is a unique destination for weddings built around 5 original Red Rattler train carriages. Four of the 1920’s art-deco carriages have been lovingly converted into self contained accommodation and the 5th is an amazing dining room aptly named Rattlers Restaurant.
DIY venue hire includes exclusive access to the retreat with use of all accommodation sleeping up to 40 guests. There’s an open air chapel which can be used for both ceremonies & receptions, the Red Rattler Restaurant and plenty of space on the grounds for outdoor wedding receptions or to erect a marquee.
Carriageway offers in-house pizza catering on request and all drinks are BYO.
