Located at the foot of 'Yellow Rock' and formerly part of Yellow Rock Estate, this tranquil homestead and adjoining cattle yard venue is a truly awe-inspiring wedding location. Featuring 112 acres of beautiful expanse and scenic views, the property and peaceful ambience of Marlu Station is incomparable to any other location in Newcastle & the Hunter Valley.

When you book Marlu Station’s onsite accommodation, you have private and exclusive access to the entire property for 2+ days. You can have your ceremony anywhere on the property to make your wedding unique to you. With many beautiful pockets of nature to choose from, every ceremony at Marlu Station is truly one of a kind to suit your personality, vision and style. Popular ceremony backdrops include the grand heights of Yellow Rock or one of the many dams onsite.

ELOPEMENTS & MICRO WEDDINGS
The homestead provides an ideal location for elopements and micro weddings with up to 9 guests able to stay onsite. You can utilise adjoining outdoor areas including the courtyard for seated or cocktail receptions, or for larger weddings erect a small marquee right next to the house.

WEDDINGS WITH 50 - 200 GUESTS
For larger weddings, a marquee can be erected at the Cattle Yard where power, lighting and our gorgeous Cattle Yard Bar await. This area is also ideal for outdoor cocktail style weddings taking in beautiful countryside views.
