St Josephs Guesthouse

St Joseph’s Guesthouse was built from the ruins of a 160 year old Catholic Church and is one of Sydney’s most unique wedding venues. The award-winning 5 bedroom property is situated in the beautiful Macdonald Valley less than 90 minutes from the city and offers affordable venue hire for weddings with 2 - 100 guests.

Hanging over the front sandstone steps, the original church bell still works today and provides a romantic spot to say “I do”. The flat lawns surrounding St Joseph's Guesthouse are perfect for outdoor wedding receptions and marquees are permitted on the property along with food trucks and other external suppliers. Inside on the ground floor is an atmospheric event space furnished with original stone relics.

The top two levels of the church have five luxury bedrooms all with ensuites & air conditioning. A large open plan kitchen and dining area overlooks an outdoor deck and plunge pool immersed in the beautiful bush landscape. Large windows throughout the building create many light-filled havens that invite relaxation while taking in the stunning country views.

Most couples take the church for up to 5 nights for an affordable flat rate including accommodation for 10 guests. Micro wedding & elopement packages are also available starting at under $5,000 inclusive of a choice of celebrants, photographer, flowers etc.
