The best historic homestead to hire for garden weddings in Maitland is Maddies of Bolwarra, the town's longest running bed & breakfast. This 1800's cottage oozes old world charm with french doors opening from each of the 5 queen rooms onto an acre of leafy gardens featuring a vine covered arbour and giant Morton Bay Fig tree.

Albion Farm Gardens is located 10 minutes from Maitland and is a popular venue to hire for wedding ceremonies and photos with 20 acres of seasonal garden rooms.
