In no particular order, here are 14 new wedding venues that you can now book for ceremonies and wedding receptions in NSW. Being fresh onto the market, all of these places are relatively unknown wedding venues with plenty of availability.

1. The Oasis One Mile Beach
Location: 5 Koala Place, Boat Harbour, NSW 2316

The Oasis at One Mile Beach in Port Stephens is a newly opened wedding resort that specialises in 3 day coastal weddings for up to 80 guests. Wedding packages for 2024 & 2025 include exclusive access to the resort with 2 nights accommodation for up to 50 guests in 9 cabins.
The main reception venue is a magical covered deck which has a romantic canopy of fairy lights and is surrounded by feature-lit trees. A festoon-lit lawn nestled in the resort's rainforest offers an open-air spot for receptions under the stars.
2. Tuscan Pergola @ Woodhouse Wollombi

The latest wedding venue at The Woodhouse Wollombi is this gorgeous Tuscan-style pergola which features an elegant Feijoa Hedge, adjoining courtyard and creeper vines that will grow to replace the shade sails during 2024. The pergola seats up to 60 guests or caters for cocktail receptions for 150 and overlooks beautiful views of the property's private lake & seasonal gardens.
All inclusive wedding packages come with a choice of catering options, everything you need for your ceremony & reception including tables, chairs and tableware and use of the Woodhouse's undercover event space in the event of wet weather. Optional accommodation is available for up to 17 guests in a barn stay & seperate honeymoon suite, plus an addition 8 king suites are coming in 2025.
3. Linnaeus Farm Berry

Linnaeus Farm is the newest wedding venue on the NSW South Coast and caters exclusively for intimate celebrations with a maximum of 30 guests. The luxurious 5 bedroom house sits on the manicured grounds of a 3.5 hectare estate and has a resort-style swimming pool, petanque court, fairytale-like kids playground and a gorgeous little wedding barn at the bottom of the garden.
4. The Lodge Jamberoo

The Lodge is a new wedding venue on the NSW South Coast and caters for 3 day destination weddings with guests staying in 43 renovated hotel rooms. All rooms overlook a huge central swimming pool and the entire resort is exclusively yours for 2 nights complete with a restaurant that serves breakfast each morning.
Wedding venues at The Lodge include an open air chapel nestled in a little Pine Forest that the owners lovingly call their Tree Cathedral. For your reception there is a grand wedding hall with white walls and polished wooden floors that adjoins an outdoor deck and terraces.
5. Fig Tree Park

Newly opened in 2022, Fig Tree Park brings a luxury, European style wedding venue to the NSW South Coast. The elegant, hill top homestead and surrounding luxe gardens set a romantic scene for outdoor weddings with expansive & spectacular sea views.
The property is named in accord with the grand old fig trees under which you can tie the knot. Private ceremonies for 2 - 10 guests are offered with an all-inclusive elopement package featuring a celebrant, photographer and canapé style catering. Larger weddings up to 200 guests are DIY with round tables for the lawn provided. Marquees are permitted onsite. An intimate luxury barn sleeps 2 for 2+ nights.
6. Glencara Country Estate

Glencara is a 10 hectare working farm with a newly renovated reception venue it has aptly entitled the 'Forever Barn'. This relatively unknown wedding destination is incredibly picturesque in the side seasons when bright yellow crops of canola bloom in Spring and lush green fields of wheat cover the surrounding paddocks in Autumn.
With its unique rustic maze and quirky gardens filled with riddles and games, Glencara is an idyllic location for outdoor ceremonies and wedding receptions. Glamping packages available.
7. Far Meadow Cottage

Another brand new wedding location on the NSW South Coast is Far Meadow Cottage, which is a 6 bedroom & 4 bathroom homestead with sprawling country gardens. Wedding ceremonies and elopements with up to 30 guests are welcome within the gardens and you can also host a lunch or quiet celebratory dinner.
An option to add to venue hire is the rustic little ivy-clad dining room that sits like a repurposed garage next to the house. This intimate event space seats up to 30 guests and has a fully licensed commercial kitchen.
8. Saint Events Centre

Saints Event Centre recently contacted us wishing to host more weddings in their newly refurbished function rooms. If you're looking for an affordable wedding venue you're unlikely to find another location that offers cheaper wedding packages in Sydney.
We love that there's onsite accommodation at the Holiday Inn, and for any international or interstate guests they're only a half hour drive from the Three Sisters in Katoomba.
9. The Lodge At Mount Rivers

Looking for a place to get married where nobody has tied the knot before? The newly opened Lodge at Mount Rivers is a 6 bedroom country estate located on the banks of the Peterson River in the Hunter Valley. The 200 acre mountain escape is well off the beaten track and surrounded by lush hills and paddocks where you can bring your own horse to graze or dogs to run around.
The infinity pool deck is perfect for small weddings and pre & post wedding events while the front lawn suits celebrations of up to 250 guests either under the stars or with a marquee. Camping permitted. No curfew.
10. Wallaringa Farm

Wallaringa Farm is a brand new elopement wedding venue situated in the Dungog Shire region of the Hunter Valley. The 3 bedroom homestead has spacious lawns and a large covered verandah surrounded by green rolling hills and grazing Wallaringa Horses.
Wallaringa Farm offers all inclusive wedding packages with a celebrant, photographer and ceremony styling or you can hire the venue for 2+ nights and book all wedding vendors yourself.
11. Footprints Farm

This beautiful new camping wedding venue is situated on a 300 acre bamboo farm between Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour and centres around a 5 acre spring fed lake where native wildlife can be regularly observed from the lakeside tiki bar.
Amenities for weddings include a commercial size green house reception venue, a pair of tipis, an outdoor area under a giant Moreton Bay Fig tree and all furniture & furnishings to seat up to 100 guests. There is accommodation for up to 20 guests on the farm and everyone else can BYO tents or campers. Showers & toilets onsite. No curfew.
12. Eleven Eighty Weddings

Eleven Eighty is a brand new venue for small weddings on the NSW South Coast. The 2 acre heritage listed property brings a variety of eclectic spaces into the market including a rustic courtyard for outdoor weddings, a train carriage that seats 20, a micro wedding barn that seats 30 and a refurbished old school hall for up to 50 guests.
The affordable venue hire fee includes two cottages sleeping 15 guests for two nights and exclusive use of the grounds with all furniture and tableware. There's even an Argentine wood fired BBQ & grill in its own garden arbor with picnic table and seating.

Sugar Beach Ranch is Byron Bay's newest wedding location and is perfect for beach lovers and horse enthusiasts alike. The 60 acre beachfront ranch belonged to the late Chris 'CM' Murphy of INXS fame and was opened for weddings in 2024 by his daughter Stevey.
The ranch offers the opportunity to get married on unspoilt coastline amongst retired polo horses and venue hire comes with two renovated 2 bedroom cabins and use of a resort size swimming pool and poolside event space.
