The affordable venue hire fee includes exclusive use of the property with accommodation for up to 20 guests for two nights. You can host pre & post wedding functions in a covered entertaining area and there's tables & chairs to seat 70 guests onsite.

This modern 6 bedroom homestead sits on a bend in the Peterson River about 45 minutes from Pokolbin and is a complete blank canvas on which to create the wedding of your dreams. The picturesque front lawn and poolside event space are your starting points.
The unique riverfront location offers an abundance of things for guests to do during an extended stay. There are swimming holes and fishing spots at the river, plenty of space for kayaking, mountain biking and bush walking trails in the surrounding hills and paddocks where you can bring your horse. Carriageway Dungog is one of the Hunter Valley's most affordable wedding venues and allows BYO catering & drinks. Although we recommend the pizza package if you're looking for a cheap catering option.
This quirky wedding destination has five original Red Rattler train carriages that have been refurbished into a private dining reception space and 4 self contained units. There’s a delightful open-air wedding chapel that can be repurposed as a reception space or marquee weddings are permitted.
Marlu Station

Goosewing Cottage is a gorgeous little elopement venue that caters for BYO weddings of up to 20 guests. Wedding packages start at $3,595 including venue hire, your choice of celebrant and an award winning photographer and you can add accommodation in one or both of the onsite cottages which sleep 8 and 4 guests respectively.
Goosewing allows guests staying onsite to share a celebratory dinner together in the larger of the cottages where you can BYO private chef and drinks. For receptions larger than 12 guests (not including children) there are recommended restaurants nearby that have private dining areas.
