2. White Chapel Kalbar

White Chapel Kalbar is a versatile elopement venue with a number of intimate spaces for ceremonies, photos and having a post-ceremony champagne. The property's namesake chapel is a modern, all white venue with luxe white bentwood chairs that are laid out according to guest numbers. 

The chapel is surrounded by a courtyard and fountain, and has a large lawn area with an adjoining outdoor bar where a grazing station can be set up under cover. All inclusive elopement packages are available Monday to Thursday and you can also hire the chapel and gardens as a blank canvas to DIY/BYO if you wish.

Includes 3.5 hours exclusive use of White Chapel, the gardens and outdoor pergola area with all furniture & styling for up to 24 guests. 3. Barn Bar @ Black Hall

The Barn Bar at Black Hall is a rustic, outdoor bar set on the lawns of White Chapel & Black Hall Kalbar. Available to hire for mid-week elopements, the Barn Bar and lawns offer a private and intimate setting for outdoor celebrations with the chapel a few steps away as a wet weather back up plan.

The Barn Bar and gardens come with all inclusive elopement packages Monday to Thursday and you can also dry hire to DIY if you prefer. A few doors down the road is Herrmann House, a luxury Airbnb of the same owners which you have the option of adding to your elopement package.

4. Workshops Rail Museum

The Workshops Rail Museum is an atmospheric location to elope with historic buildings, grand industrial architecture, wide avenues and dramatic backdrops exclusively yours for the duration of venue hire. The museum is at the site of Queensland's original railway workshop and has some incredibly unique furnishings including a genuine fog-puffing locomotive - which you can exchange vows in front of.

The heritage-listed location can be hired exclusively for wedding ceremonies and elopements without needing to book a reception. However there is a private dining room that seats up to 50 guests and offers affordable packages for micro wedding receptions. 

Elopement Package: $900

Includes a choice of 5 ceremony sites set up with timber benches, floral arrangements and a registry table with chairs, plus use of the grounds for wedding photos afterwards.
